How to purchase a protection plan for yourself or a business?

The scope and requirements of each type of protection are different. In order to be able to arrange the most suitable protection plan for your situation, please prepare the required information and documents, and then contact our customer service specialists. When can the insurance service take effect?

According to different protection service products, the effective date is also different. Generally speaking, partners needbefore the insurance takes effectSet aside at least 7 days for processing administrative procedures.

We know that every partner may encounter an emergency, and we are very happy to assist you with emergency arrangements. The emergency arrangement service can take effect as soon as the next day^.

What will happen after confirming the purchase of the insurance service?

After understanding your protection requirements, we willreply to youthe actual quotation and let you confirm.

Once the protection content and price are confirmed, you can transfer the amount to the bank account of AIS through bank teller machines or online banking to make full payment.

After the payment is confirmed, we will provide you with relevant protection services on the planned effective date.

Where can I view the purchase receipt?

Your purchase receipt will be sent to you via email or the channel you expect after payment and protection take effect.

Can I cancel/change the insurance service I have purchased?

After purchasing long-term protection, individual or corporate customers can enjoy a 21-day cooling-off period^. The cooling-off period will be 21 calendar days from the effective date of the policy. If the 21st calendar day is a holiday, it will be postponed to the next working day.

Please note that some protections are statutory protection services, please confirm relevant statutory requirements before canceling, such as motor insurance.

How many days do I need to confirm the service?

The confirmation service period will be adjusted according to the type of protection, the content of the protection or the effective date. For detailed deadlines, please contact our customer service specialists.

About Payment

Can I get a refund when I cancel the insurance service?

If you cancel the insurance service during the cooling-off period, you can get a full refund after deducting the administrative fee.And cancelled after the cooling-off periodinsurance services, all payments are non-refundable.

Can I pay by credit card?

We now only accept payment by bank balance or cheque. Credit card payment service will also be officially launched soon^.

Which bank account should I make the payment to?

Customers can deposit or transfer funds to the following bank accounts according to their individual needs, and provide a deposit slip or transfer certificate for verification after payment.

About Service, Document Requirement and Others

Does the insurance service accept applications from overseas regions?

Personal protection services are temporarily limited to Hong Kong permanent residents to apply, and relevant supporting documents shall be submitted according to the protection category.
The regional requirements for corporate insurance services will be based onthe type of protection. If necessary, please contact us for inquiries.

What supporting documents need to be submitted?

The supporting documents vary according to the type of protection, general document:
Applicant's ID card, driver's license, vehicle registration certificate, domestic helper passport, etc.

General document for corporate services:
Business registration certificate, MPF contribution record, project quotation, etc.

When do I need to submit supporting documents?

In order to understand your actual needs and arrange an appropriate protection plan, please provide all supporting documents before confirming the protection.

Is there a difference between the underwriting companies?

According to the type of protection, each underwriting company will have different requirements and specifications. We will arrange and select the most suitable plan for customers based on the interests of customers. Consider and compare the insured amount, exclusions, terms and actual needs of different schemes with customers.
